L. Gordon Flake, Executive Director of the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, was invited to the reception and gave an insightful talk on the prospects of Obama administration's Northeast Asian policy and the key issues the peninsula faces. Mr. Flake served on the Asia Advisory Team of President Obama's presidential campaign and continues to consult on various policy issues. He joined the Mansfield Foundation in 1999 and was previously a Senior Fellow and Associate Director of the program on conflict resolution at The Atlantic Council of the United States.
